It's so rare anymore that I get to take a long, relaxing bath.  It's usually quickly jump in and out of the shower and on with my day.  Sunday was a day that I got to relax and enjoy a soak.  As I was relaxing, I reached for my tube of clay mud mask.  When I squeezed, nothing came out.  I shook and heard the sound of a dry piece of clay rattling around inside.  This confused me, since it hadn't been that long since I'd used it last, it seemed not possible that a closed tube could have dried out that fast.  I put the cap back on and squeezed again to check for leaks, and the "woosh" sound of air escaping was evident.  I looked at the back side of the tube, and I discovered two little tooth punctures.  Either Dracula has found green clay mud masks a new tasty snack, or else Badbadkitty has been here.

I let Badbadkitty come into my bedroom for a little snuggle time while I worked on my laptop.  He moved around a little but most of the time he was close to my side.  After about an hour I tried to get up, only to discover that he had somehow gotten into my yarn stash and managed to string it all over the place--over me, under the bed, around bed legs, etc.  I looked like Gulliver after the Lilliputans had tied him down.  So after freeing myself from my traces, and re-winding and putting away the yarn, I then had to coax him out of the closet, where he had now taken up residence.  That was last night.

This morning I woke up to discover a pile of toilet paper piled below the empty roller.  I guess he told me what he thought about me changing his artful creation.

Badbadkitty has destroyed my mini blinds. I spent money to buy a new curtain rod, rings, and curtain to replace the damaged blinds, only to find that Badbadkitty has hidden my Phillips screwdriver.  Maybe "hidden" is too strong of a word, but I'm sure that he's batted it into some dark corner.  It's definitely not where I left it.

Badbadkitty likes the Paw Shoppe, 6416 E. Spring St, Long Beach, CA 90815.  He can find his favorite food there, as well as all the other supplies and toys that he loves.  They also have lots of yummy sounding birds and small furry snacks, er, he means pets.  There's also reptiles and some fish.

www.pawshoppepetcenter.com is their website and there's some interesting stuff there.  You can find a page of products that they carry, plus a library of interesting articles, links, resources, and a way to contact them.

Badbadkitty likes the independent pet shops.  The selection leans toward smaller manufactures, but better products.  The big chains have their advantages, but nothing beats the service that you get at the independent shops.  Someone always helps mom out to the car with Badbadkitty's food.

The Paw Shoppe even has a pet food frequent-buyer card.  Badbadkitty's mom just gives her name every time she buys a bag of Badbadkitty's food, and after 10 bags, the next one is free!

Badbadkitty likes to be petted, and especially likes to have his back scratched.  He rises up on his toes, like most cats when the back scratching begins.  While enjoying a back-scratch session the other day, he rose up on his toes so far that he toppled over.  This would have just been silly cat behavior except that he was standing on the bathroom counter and when he went over, he fell off of the counter and onto the floor.  Badbadkitty looked at me as though I'd done this horrible thing to him.  I guess if you're going to make a faux pas, you might as well blame it on someone else.

Badbadkitty likes to help me or at least observe me bathe.  While taking a long soak, Badbadkitty joined me on the edge of the tub.  He, of course, cant just visit, he has to mess with things.  Drink the water, play with the bubbles, or try to grab my fingers.  At one "reach out and touch me" episode, I reached back, and gave his paw a little squeeze, kind of like a handshake.  This must have confused him, because he lost his balance and fell into the bath water.  What you don't want, if you've never owned a cat, is to be naked in a bathtub of water with a cat.  What I didn't expect, was that he didn't lose his cool and claw everything in reach, he looked at me to help him get out.  After scooping him out, he leisurely walked away.  Badbadkitty never lets anyone see him sweat.
